The place to stay
Easy to find, parking in the grounds, rooms superb highest quality fittings, breakfast just simply
the best, Gay and Ron are the best of hosts their enthusiasm emanates through all the staff. Bar and room bar excellent. We loved the information about the house highly detailed a joy to read. A walk in the garden is recommended. Would we go back? Yes please!
We stayed at this hotel for one night, choosing Inga’s room, it was a beautiful room, very comfortable massive bed, lovely sofa, set out well and a lovely bathroom with a spa shower and jacuzzi bath… the bath was a normal size bath but was sunken into the floor and lit up to make it that extra bit romantic! The whole room was decorated with style and every care was taken in the decor!
The complimentary tea and coffee was nice and the drinks were extremely reasonable in price!
The food menu had lots of choices and it was nice to see so much on there that was grown locally.
The staff and both Gay and Ron were very friendly accommodating and welcoming. The gardens were lovely, we had a nice stroll round and sat on one of the benches by the little lake and relaxed in the evening sun.The breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh and to order in quick time too!
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying close to this area or for couples who just want to escape for a night! I can definitely see why they have had such great reviews!
